SB Targeted for Anti-Meth Campaign

Santa Barbara may be posh, but it is also one of three jurisdictions in the state-including Bakersfield and Redding-to be chosen for a federally funded anti-meth media campaign on radio and TV. The Office of National Drug Control Policy chose Santa Barbara due to a high rate of drug use, and because the county would not benefit from the upcoming state-funded anti-meth media campaigns targeting major metropolitan areas.
