Biz Tycoon Sues Cousin

Paul Orfalea, local entrepreneur and businessman, filed suit in Ventura Superior Court on 12/6 against his business partner and cousin Gary Safady for breach of contract. The suit, according to court records, is reportedly for $27.8 million. Orfalea and Safady cofounded O&S Holdings, a real estate and development company which owns more than 80 properties throughout the country, especially in the South. The two teamed to open Zodo’s bowling in Goleta in 2004.
