Santa Barbara Sheriff’s detectives have released photos they hope will help them find the person responsible for last week’s arson attack on Isla Vista Foot Patrol headquarters. Two Molotov cocktails were thrown at around 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15. The improvised firebombs caused minor damage to the Trigo Road building and an unoccupied patrol car.

According to a Sheriff’s spokesperson, three separate pieces of graffiti were discovered the next day on and around Snidecor Hall on UCSB’s campus, which is around 500 yards from the Foot Patrol building. “The graffiti contains references to the attack on IVFP and includes what appears to be the moniker ‘Crazy Irish,’” the spokesperson said.

The department encourages anyone with information on the incident to call (805) 681-4100 or (805) 681-4171.
