Olaf Wierda, a computer technician for the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office, was arrested yesterday for being under the influence of drugs on the job. Wierda, 41, was booked into County Jail on multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance, possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. His bail is set at $10,000.
