Attempted Suicide Shuts Down 101
Suicidal Person Was Taken off Milpas Overpass by Responding Officers
Highway 101 near the Milpas Street overpass was momentarily closed in both directions at around 3:10 p.m. this afternoon as police and CHP officers responded to a suicidal person on the overpass. Details of the incident are scarce, but based on scanner chatter it appears the person was saved. Traffic is now flowing but moving slowly.
