On Tuesday, November 15, the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra held a lively reception in the second floor Loggia of the Santa Barbara County Courthouse and then a wonderful Strings Tango concert in the Courthouse Mural Room. Both were collaborations with the Courthouse Legacy Foundation.

The concert featured Joel Pargman, violin, Carrie Kennedy, violin, Colleen Sugata, viola, Paul Fehrenbach, cello, and guest Brian Head, guitar. Pieces were from Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Villa-Lobos, Piazzolla, and Boccherini. The stunning Mural Room, with its recently-restored 4,200 square feet of murals, provided a delightful setting for this special performance.
