Hoping this’ll get to the pertinent decision-makers, what happened to the idea of the Santa Barbara Police Department rebuilding at their current location? This appears to be an ideal and familiar spot, and just what would happen to the Figueroa Street property should it be abandoned?
If a rebuilding is done, possibly they could relocate to the Macy’s spot in the interim. I think this would cause the fewest headaches.
