I strongly disagree with the letter “Subjective Smell” in last week’s Independent.
When the cannabis tax was approved by voters, the supervisors promised to “use the majority of cannabis revenue to fund departments and agencies that oversee regulating and enforcing the cannabis industry.”
I find it very interesting that one of the big complaints about cannabis cultivation is the smell.
It’s sad both city and county sold out local ownership and social equity in favor of non-locals with big investors from out of state and country.
