Take a Long Walk, Venoco

Matt Kettmann’s article about Venoco’s plans to open the pier off Ellwood Beach, also referred to as Lease 421, has many of us residents and our visiting friends and family from all over the world concerned about the claim that there is a pressure buildup — we believe this is just an excuse by Venoco to reopen a closed well, which would put all of us at risk. Please help get the word out as all submissions are due to the California State Land Commission by Friday, December 20.
