Wonder what life was like 100 years ago when there was a pandemic *and* a world war? Let’s sing & talk about it. It’s relevant!
Singer/actor Diana Diaz Boadella, brings history to life for all ages, singing a program of popular songs from the Great War era and reading secret love letters from 3 pairs of love birds who were soldiers & sweethearts caught up together in history. Great for a little extra credit at school, Veterans Day, Remembrance Day, and Armistice Day.
Free to watch! For more fun make dinner based on what soldiers ate in the trenches or what people ate back home to support the war effort. Visit the Clark Center page below for ideas.
Donations encouraged. Top 3 donations over $100 win a free digital album. Proceeds support Clark Center for the Performing Arts in Arroyo Grande, CA. The event will be recorded in Lompoc.
Begins at 6pm on November 7, 2020. Watch on demand anytime after.
