Why electric bikes?
E-bikes are fun to ride and they get you where you are going quickly. Without the hassle of sweat you don’t need special clothes, you get easy and free parking, and they are a great way to fight climate change by reducing traffic and pollution.
Can you make an e-bike your daily driver? Your commute to work or with your kids to school? A teenager’s way to school? Regular trips to the market?
EZ Bike will help you answer these questions and more!
The EZ Bike Project (EZBike.org) is a new e-bike demo program operated by the SBCAG Traffic Solutions division. It offers free e-bike demos of various brands and models, including cargo bikes, cruisers, city bikes, and folding bikes to local residents and commuters as a measure to reduce traffic and air pollution in Santa Barbara County. The project is usually based downtown Santa Barbara, but for CycleMAYnia will hold pop-up events in Goleta and Carpinteria for the ease of residents in those areas.
