Faitell Attractions- The Collective, a popular interior design and curated consignment center in downtown Santa Barbara, has moved to a new location.
The new, 4,000-foot showroom – double the size of the original store – is located at 127 West Canon Perdido, Santa Barbara, just off State Street and close to the Paseo Nuevo mall. The showroom will hold a Grand Opening celebration on Feb. 16- 5-8 pm.
Operated by award-winning East Coast designer, Lisa Faitell, the showroom first opened on State Street in August 2020, with a focus on fashionable vintage and upcycled furniture, antiques, and home décor and accessories from around the world, with a focus on Mid-Century design style. Since then, the store has steadily grown in popularity, prompting Faitell to expand the showroom to include other selective Dealers and move to a larger space and is now known as “Faitell Attractions – The Collective.”
Visitors to the showroom can expect to see a variety of colors and design styles that will tantalize the senses. “We cater to clients who are looking for something ‘special’ and keep this in mind when on the hunt.” Members of the collective are Clark James, a prolific artist and collector of Mid Century and “everything cool and interesting,”; Lynell Dobowy, a collector of vintage jewelry in “Hollywood” styles; Hammies, a retro brand specializing in classic beach styles from the 1950-80s; vintage Mid Century modern art collector Trevor Alleman; vintage fashion stylist Nina Quiros-The Story, and Taxo and Native American jewelry collector Cynthia Keefover. The showroom’s inventory is updated daily.
In addition to one-of-a-kind furniture and accessories, the showroom offers custom window fashions, including blinds, roller shades, woven wood shades, soft drapery, and window treatments from Horizon Window Fashions and Norman USA. These manufacturers offer nearly every type of window treatment available, from solar shades to shutters and everything in between.
Faitell is the creator of the successful design firm Faitell Interiors and Homme Interior. Prior to moving to Santa Barbara, she worked for decades as an interior designer in New York.
