Celebrate the first year of the James Webb Telescope and its monumentally important progress for humanity, in a presentation led by Peter Love, Ph.D. Join us in Fleischmann Auditorium at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History for this free public talk presented by the Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit. No registration required.

Dr. Love was a systems engineer for JWST’s Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI) at the Raytheon Hyperspectral Module Program. He has worked for more than 20 years in the infrared industry designing and testing infrared focal plane arrays for a variety of systems including strategic sensors, remote sensing, and infrared astronomy.
