Beach Sampling Results, Dec. 20th

The Santa Barbara Channelkeeper conducts water quality sampling during the winter. A WARNING beach status is issued when one or more of the bacterial health standards are exceeded.

Message from The Santa Barbara Channelkeeper: Due to heavy rainfall expected tonight and tomorrow, which would likely result in similarly high indicator bacteria levels, we will not be re-sampling on Wednesday, December 22, and we advise people to follow the County of Santa Barbara Public Health Department’s recommendation to stay out of the water for 72 hours following a rain event.
