Camp Kesem at UC Santa Barbara’s Make the Magic

Kesem is a nonprofit organization that provides year-long support for children with parents who have been affected by cancer. One of our most notable events is our completely free summer camp which is a week filled with games, song circles, meals, cabin chats, friendship bracelet-making, painting activities, and much more. Fundraisers are what assist our organization with paying for camp and supplies throughout the year.

Our biggest fundraiser for Camp Kesem at UC Santa Barbara is our annual gala, Make the Magic. Make the Magic will be held on May 6, 2023, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Kiva Cowork in downtown Santa Barbara. Tickets for our event are $80 and include a cocktail hour, dinner, dessert, guest speakers, and a paddle raise. Ticket sales go live on March 6th.
