Join the Community Environmental Council’s annual Earth Day Climate Leadership Summit on Saturday, April 24th from 4:30pm-5:30pm followed by a networking session from 5:30pm-6:30pm. Join this annual Earth Day gathering to connect with climate activists of all ages across the region.
> Build a groundswell of community activism to reverse the threat of the climate crisis
> Advance an equitable transition to zero carbon communities
> Accelerate the use of nature-based solutions to repair the carbon cycle
> Meet new allies and build new partnerships
> Make the California Central Coast a bright spot of environmental leadership and action
When: 4:30-5:30pm: Public facing event to close the Virtual Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival, 5:30-6:30pm – Networking session with event attendees

Selected speakers will have three minutes to provide a short summary about their efforts. If you would like to participate as a timed pop-up speaker, please respond ‘yes’ during your RSVP and you’ll be given an opportunity to share your topic. Special consideration will be given to new or emerging leaders, youth-focused groups, and activists working in Ventura or San Luis Obispo counties.
