Join Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara for a Found Object Mobiles Workshop on Saturday, May 1st at 11:00 AM PST! Learn how to create hanging mobiles using repurposed objects from around your home or items found outdoors. This workshop is a great way to find beauty in overlooked, everyday resources. Gather your items beforehand, and together we will assemble our mobiles during the tutorial, though you will likely need some extra time after the workshop to balance your mobiles. We will explore how various materials can be used to create mobiles, and demonstrate how to construct, tie, and balance a hanging mobile. This event is free to all and we encourage people of all ages to attend. See you there!
