Free Old Town Walking Tour

Covering 14 points of interest in a little under two hours, your guide will cover the history of lower downtown (400, 500, and 600 blocks of State St) and the transition of Old Town from 1850 to the present day.

We’ll also cover the events that ushered in the Spanish-Colonial style of architecture, make our way over to the Brinkerhoff Victorian District and the ghosts of Ogle House, and finally, visit three of local architect Jeff Shelton’s residential projects including the famous “Dr. Seuss” house.
