Saturday, May 7 from noon to 6pm, LoDo Studios in Santa Barbara will host the first Pop Swap at 216 E. Gutierrez Street. Three Local artists Gabby Paddick, Penny Little, and Brett Schoonderwoerd came up with the idea to promote local arts and artists, artisans, and entrepreneurs.
“We’re on a mission. to introduce the community to talented local artists through a fun, all ages event.” Gabby Paddick, one of the organizers. “These are working artists and artisans, who focus on educating and sharing their skills.”
This is a free, family oriented event. There will be a free mask making workshop for kids, face painting by Solstice artist Joan Melendez, music by DJ Comfort Food (aka Brandon Scott) and food which can be purchased. Treasures one might find at the popup include clothing, jewelry, hats, candles, cards, unique one of a kind specialty items and gifts for Mother’s Day.

LoDo Studios is in is the same building as Oniracom. Jacob Tell co-founder CEO of Oniracom for past 20 years says, “Oniracom is shifting gears and opening up more to this community.” Oniracom is known for marketing, branding, and their work with local notable Jack Johnson, and other national figures.
