It wasn’t just another wild night at the zoo last night — it was Fiesta’s wildest party: DIGS at the Santa Barbara Zoo. Old Spanish Days Fiesta’s Dignatarios were dressed in their finest to enjoy food from local restaurants, margaritas, live music, and dancing on the zoo’s iconic hilltop.
Among the vendors there to support Old Spanish Days and the Santa Barbara Zoo (this always sold-out, favorite annual event is a joint fundraiser for both nonprofits) were Acme Hospitality, Anchor Rose, Andersen’s Danish Bakery, Beckmen Vineyards, Benchmark Eatery, Big Joe’s Tacos, Brander Winery, The Brewhouse, Brophy Bros., Ca’ Dario, Chase Restaurant, Cutler’s Artisan Spirits, Events by Rincon, Firestone Walker Brewing Company, Flying Embers, Guillotine Vodka, Institution Ale, Jersey Mike’s, JuneShine, Lalo Tequila, Lions Peak, Los Agaves, Lucas & Lewellen, Mesa Salsa Co., Municipal Winemakers, The Nugget, Nutrl, The Palace Grill, Petrini’s Restaurant, Rusty’s Pizza Parlor, Sierra Nevada, Sunstone Winery, Topa Topa, Turiya, Ventura Spirits, Via Maestra 42, and Zaca Mesa.
Between the high-quality sips and bites, the great entertainment, the stunning mountain and ocean views framed by the lush zoo landscaping, and the fact that the event goes to support two worthy causes, S.B. DIGS had yet another successful year.
