County HR Department Merges with Executive Office

The county’s Human Resources Department will be merged with the County Executive Office at a savings of $417,000 to the county, the Board of Supervisors voted on 9/20. The move will maximize staffing resources and eliminate a few positions, while streamlining operations. Human Resources will no longer have a department director, but be led by an assistant departmental leader.
